In March 2015, Paul A. Shackel and Barbara J. Little established the Anthropology for the Public Good Graduate Fellowship, a need-based graduate fellowship in the Department of Anthropology in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. The Anthropology for the Public Good Graduate Fellowship shall be used to support need-based graduate fellowships and to help recruit and retain outstanding students in the Department of Anthropology in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the University of Maryland.
