Parents Initiatives Fund

The Parents & Families Initiatives Fund provides the Division of Student Affairs with valuable resources to support innovative programs and services that promote student learning, engagement, and success.

In the past, funds have been used for:

• Terp Family Hugs & High Fives
• Health and wellness programming
• Academic support/tutoring
• Career development
• Unpaid internship scholarships
• Alcohol-free, on-campus weekend programs
• Student leadership development
• Alternative Breaks/Service-Learning opportunities
• Parent and family resources
